For the past few years the team here at SportsSignup has banded together to give Santa a hand with the holiday season. He’s a busy guy you know! And even the elves could use a coffee break once in a while. This year we are pleased to continue the SportsSignup tradition of giving back to the Albany region and took up the cause of the Albany County Department for Children, Youth and Families and took part in the organization’s Adopt-a-Family Program.
The program matches families with donors who can make the season a little better for children and families in Albany County. We got the specific Christmas wish-lists for the family’s children as well as the general needs of the family. Once we had our shopping lists it was off to the store and then back to the office for a present wrapping assembly line. We may not have the wrapping skills of Santa’s elves so we went for the coolest looking wrapping paper we could find!
SportsSignup is dedicated to giving back the community that we all live and work in. After all, youth sports are part of the backbone of any community. We’re also proud sponsors of the Troy Turkey Trot and Freihofer’s Junior 3k Run, both of which take place in the capital region.
This year, SportsSignup was also able to take our elfish ways cross country in our new Mesa, AZ office. The West Coast team got involved in the Your Salvation Army Adopted Family program, one of the oldest and largest Christmas adoption programs in Pima County.
Here’s what our CEO Anthony Bruno had to say in a note to everyone at SportsSignup,
In our own way SportsSignup has made a difference in people’s lives, either through the services we provide, or by our direct contributions. Today we worked to make a difference for one family, something we should all feel good about.
We are so much more than a “registration company,” and all of you help to reinforce this with our customers and within our community.
